Obama’s gun plan

Speaking to San Francisco “elites” this past spring, Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama said, “You go into some of these small towns in Pennsylvania, and like a lot of small towns in the Midwest, it’s not surprising then that they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion.”
Well, should Mr. Obama be elected, he plans to change the part about our being able to cling to guns — because he intends to severely curtail our right to cling to them by taking them away.
Europeans, unless they’re hunters — and hunters in Europe pay a very premium price for that luxury of perhaps being able to hunt somewhere if they’re among the “elite” of course — aren’t allowed to own firearms. And don’t even think about owning a pistol. That’s an absolute no-no.
That’s why the crime rate in London is rampant. Citizens are defenseless. Residents, as well as tourists, are prey to those who wield knives. It’s also why the crime rate is rampant in Paris, and in most other European cities. Crime flourishes because there is absolutely no defense, no deterrent.
Mr. Obama knows this. And Europeans know he knows this. That’s a reason why, along with big city liberals here in America, they love him so much. He’s so much just like them.
If you think this is nonsense, the National Rifle Association of America begs to disagree. Every gun owner, every shooter and hunter and those who believe “the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed,” as the Second Amendment to the Constitution says, should be aware of Mr. Obama’s 10-point plan — if he’s elected — to radically change the Second Amendment. It’s as follows:
(1) Ban use of firearms for home defense.
(2) Pass federal laws eliminating right-to-carry.
(3) Ban the manufacture, sale and possessions of handguns.
(4) Close 90% of the gun shops in America.
(5) Ban rifle ammunition commonly used for hunting and sport shooting.
(6) Increase federal taxes on guns and ammunition by 500%.
(7) Restore voting rights for five million criminals including those who have been convicted of using a gun to commit a violent crime.
(8) Expand the Clinton semi-automatic ban to include millions more firearms.
(9) Mandate a government-issued license to purchase a firearm.
(10) Appoint judges to the U.S. Supreme Court and federal judiciary who share his views on the Second Amendment.
